This is a beautiful and very hospitable inn with plenty of charm and comfort for a perfect visit. A lovely park is opposite with a track field and lots of old shady trees, a stream, paths and picnic areas. The suites and the public areas are upscale and well appointed. Laurel is a charming town and offers a fine art museum which should not be missed. The O'Connell's are great hosts, and will give you the desire to come back. Be sure not to miss the afternoon tea if you have time and want to relax in an old fashioned manner. Breakfast at the Laurel Inn is a big bonus and a great way to start the day. Reminiscent of times gone by when the first meal of the day gave time for planning and focus while enjoying a second cup of coffee or tea. |
